Overview:
Our Edge Crush Test (ECT) measures the edgewise compressive strength of corrugated cardboard, providing critical insight into its stacking strength and performance under load. This test is widely used in packaging design and quality control to evaluate a material’s ability to resist crushing forces during handling and storage.

Test Description:
A precisely cut sample of corrugated board is placed vertically between two compression plates in the Edge Crush Tester. Force is applied at a controlled rate until the sample fails. The maximum force per unit length (measured in N/m) indicates the board’s edge crush resistance.
